AirStream Data send out a professional that will perform the installation for you, we will also assist you in working with your landlord, building owner, or building supervisor to make roof access approval arrangements.

What happens during the standard installation? - top of page
Our installation process in not labor intensive compared to installing fiber, cable, copper. Your installation professional will perform the following steps:
   •
Verify that your location provides adequate signal strength to receive service
   •
Mount the AirStream Data antenna on the top of your building
   •
Coordinate the placement of your AirStream Data CPE
   •
Install Cat-5 and RG6 cable to connect the AirStream Data CPE to the antenna.
   •
Verify that the CPE and the antenna are functioning and that you’re Internet connection is active.

How quickly can I get my new connection installed? - top of page

AirStream Data needs to access your roof during the installation process. AirStream Data will assist you in working with your landlord, building owner, or building supervisor to make roof access approval arrangements.

Yes, your landlord must approve the installation before
AirStream Data arrives at your location and should be present to begin the installation process. We find that the installation goes much easier once the landlord understands how easy the installation process is and how small the Customer Premise Equipment is in size.

Although, it is not required that your landlord or building manager be present, we find that our most successful installations include the landlord and/or the building manager early in the process. We want to explain the process, the equipment, and the installation to ensure all expectations are clear. After gaining roof access permission, we will assist you in determining the level of involvement your landlord and/or the building manager would like to participate.
